Brief summary

This is a museum of which almost all the facilities are located underground. At ground level, there are a plaza 1 (#r1 open space) and a glass and steel entrance foyer. The entrance gate was designed to be a monument to serve as a gateway for the whole area, in keeping with the grand design for the future development of the area. (Fig. 1 and Fig. 2)

In order to realize the floodlighting of the tangle of curved lines, three dimensional illuminance analysis was used in the lighting design process.
