“Shimokita Kokusetsu Dome” is combined two buildings. The Dome Building is usable for rubber ball, tennis, soccer and also an event like exhibitions regardless the season and weather in this cold and heavy snowfall area. The Center House Building also has a pool and training gym.

The square arena, 108m×108m, in the Dome Building is usable the artificial lawn field as whole or divided. The double corridors are planned to surround the arena.

The square arena and hemispherical roof with double skin are integrated in the blended form. It’s a fascinating scenery that pure white dome as snow floats in between Mutsu bay and Kamabuse-yama mountain.

And By employing the high transmission material for the top of the roof inside, the enough illuminance for sports is ensured without artificial light at the daytime even in the snow season.
