The 6th Lux Pacifica will be held in Khabarovsk, Russia from April 23rd to 25th, 2009. Lux Pacifica Committee of Illuminating Engineering Institute of Japan(IEIJ) publishes " Call for Papers : Lux Pacifica 2009 " as follows. This article is written for applicants from Japan(Japanese version).
Khabarovsk is one of the largest cities of Russian Far East. It is located some 30km from the Chinese border. It is the second largest city in the Russian Far East, after Vladivostok. The city total square is 37.2 thousand hectares. The population is about 620 thousand people. In 2008 Khabarovsk will celebrate its 150-year anniversary. The weather in April in this region is changeable but mostly good in this time of a year.
Topics are as follows.
(1)Those wishing to present a proposal from Japan are requested to send them to Lux Pacifica committee in IEIJ by July 31st, 2008. Proposals should be in the form of an abstract, with sufficient information to assess the topic and the quality of the ideas. They should be sent to Lux Pacifica committee by using E-mail as a Word document, containing the paper submission, that includes full contact details, and the sentences of an abstract with more than 500 and less than 1000 words. The forms of the paper submission and the abstract are attached as "Paper_Submission_Form_Lux2009.doc" and "Abstract_Format_Lux2009.doc". All abstracts from Japan will be sent to the Illuminating Engineering Society of Russia by September 1st, 2008 after reviewed by Lux Pacifica committee in IEIJ.

(2)Authors of abstract will be informed by August 31st, 2008 if their paper is accepted by IEIJ. And authors of abstract will need to produce the full paper by the end of October, 2008. After the committee reviews the full papers, some authors may have to revise their full papers, if there are comments from a reviewer. All full papers from Japan will be sent to the Illuminating Engineering Society of Russia by January 31st, 2009 through IEIJ.
(3)Those who are going to make presentation at Lux Pacifica 2009 are requested to submit camera-ready manuscript of full paper.
